Tragedy of the Little Red-Haired Girl

Hi everyone, hope all is well.  Just reported the other day was the passing of Donna Wold, the real life "little red-haired girl" (she was never given a name in the strip) that inspired Charles Schultz to create the fictional one from his classic "Peanuts" strip.  She was 91.

Schulz used Wold as a character in the strip to represent the wistfulness that Charlie Brown had for a girl that he could have hoped to talk to some day, to date some day, but it was never to be.  Not in real life where Wold chose another to marry, beside Schulz, (they did date for awhile) nor in the strip, where Charlie always suffered from unrequited love.

Now with some of the very inspirations gone from already long gone creators is this...

Good Grief do I feel old.
